【請求項1】 溶銑が装入された転炉型の溶銑処理容器内に、精錬用の上吹きランスとして第1ランスと第2ランスとを水平方向に距離を離して挿入し、 前記第1ランスからは気体酸素を供給し、前記第2ランスからは搬送用ガスとともに固体酸素源を供給するものとし、 前記第1ランスと第2ランスとの水平方向距離をs(m)、前記溶銑処理容器の炉口の径をD(m)、前記第2ランスの静止湯面からの吹込み高さをh2(m)、前記第2ランスの開口径をd(m)、前記第2ランスからの前記搬送用ガスの吹き込み流量をQ2(Nm3/s)としたとき、前記第1ランス及び第2ランスが式(1)及び式(2)を満たす ことを特徴とする固体酸素源の供給方法。
