【請求項1】Alを1〜18カチオン%含有するチタン複合酸化物からなり、ルチル構造の結晶を含み、波長550nmにおける屈折率が2.64以上であり、波長400nmにおける屈折率が3.00以上であり、表面粗さRaが1.8nm以下である、光学膜を製造する方法であって、基板を準備する工程と、前記基板の温度を320〜550°Cの範囲内とし、酸素分圧を0.1〜4Paの範囲内にして、前記基板の上に物理的堆積法により前記光学膜を形成する工程とを備える、光学膜の製造方法。
