Overview:
It is a site for Combined Annotation-Dependent Depletion (CADD), which is a framework for scoring the deleteriousness of single nucleotide variants as well as insertion/deletions variants in the human genome. The CADD objectively weights and integrates diverse annotations by contrasting variants survived natural selection with simulated mutations. The variants those are functional, deleterious and disease causal are quantitatively sorted out its priorities across a wide range of functional categories, effect sizes and genetic architectures.
