【請求項1】一般式:(Ba1-x(A)x)(Ti1-y1-y2(B1)y1(B2)y2)2O5+zで示される組成物からなる多結晶を含み、前記一般式において(A)はCa、Rb、Sr、Cs、FrおよびRaからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の元素であり、 (B1)はNb、Ta、VおよびMnからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の元素であり、 (B2)はFe、Co、Ni、Ge、Se、Zr、Pd、SnおよびHfからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の元素であり、 xは0.01以上0.5未満であり、y1は0以上0.1未満であり、y2は0より大きく0.5未満であり、y1+y2は0より大きく0.5未満であり、zは0以上y1以下であることを特徴とする二チタン酸バリウム系複合酸化物。
