Research overview：
シェディングは細胞膜貫通型の蛋白質を細胞外の膜近傍で切断し細胞外領域を可溶化する翻訳後修飾機構であり、切断される膜蛋白質のみならずそれを発現する細胞の機能をも制御する事ができる極めて有効な分子機構です。本研究では、プロテオミクス技術を用いたバイアスをかけないスクリーニングを生理的な条件下でおこるシェディングに適用する事で、シェディングの新たな生理的役割や制御機構を明らかにする事を目指します。
