Research overview：
アクチン重合は細胞運動のための重要な起動力の1つです。私が開発した単分子スペックル法により、細胞辺縁のアクチンが先端から離れた起点より盛んに重合し、数秒以内に脱重合を開始することが解明されました。この単分子スペックル法をアクチン関連分子にも応用することで、細胞伸展におけるアクチン重合、分解の各経路の役割を明らかにします。生命科学が未だ不得意とする「生体内で分子過程そのものを観る」ことを目指します。
