Research overview：
より安全でより誘導効率の高いiPS細胞の樹立法の検討を進め、得られたiPS細胞クローンのゲノム解析と多能性を検証する。同時に、大型動物などを用いて安全性を検証し、最終的には臨床応用グレードのヒトiPS細胞クローンを得るプロトコールを完成する。加えて、ヒト疾患iPS細胞を用いて解明されていない疾患の発症・進行機構に対して洞察し、効果的な薬剤探索の礎とする。具体的な目標として以下を挙げる。 1. レトロウイルスに依らないiPS細胞樹立法の開発 2. ヒトiPS細胞とES細胞の比較解析 3. iPS細胞の安全性の検証 4. ヒト疾患iPS細胞による病態解明と薬剤探索
