Research overview：
太陽光を用いて効率良く水を分解して、クリーンエネルギーである水素を製造できるプロセスを実現するために、有機色素と無機半導体を組み合わせた新規な光触媒反応系を研究します。植物が行っている光合成の「2段階光励起機構」を模倣し、水の分解反応における水素生成反応には新規開発した機能性有機色素を、一方の酸素生成反応には無機酸化物半導体を用い、両者の特性をそれぞれ活かすことによって、高効率な水素製造を目指します。
