電気を流す分子細線を絶縁基板上に1個の分子レベルで大面積に作り・並べ、分子末端に電極を接続する日本発の画期的な有機デバイス構築技術“分子ワイヤ・シンセサイザー(分子細線製造機)”を開発します。この方法を用いた有機電子デバイスを試作し、従来型と比べて劇的な性能向上と世界最高性能を目指します。達成されれば装着可能な軽くて曲がるデバイスや高性能バイオセンサなど様々な分野での応用が期待されます。
