Research overview：
光と生体内の色素との相互作用によるエネルギー変換過程は生命現象のなかで重要な役割を果たしています。本研究では、人工の高分子あるいはその集合体による効率の高いエネルギー変換系の構築を目指します。このために、光を捕らえる芳香環基が隙間なく集積し、秩序をもって配列した特異な構造を持つ新しい高分子 “π-スタック型ポリマー” を合成し、光との相互作用について明らかにします。
