本研究はシアトルと名古屋を対象として、フォーカスグループおよびアンケート調査を実施し、大規模災害時の即時対応と地域生存能力の向上のために重要な要因を明らかにする。そのうえで、社会的・文化的要素を考慮した技術的解決策について検討することで、より適切な技術的解決策を明らかにする。
