Research overview：
本研究は光触媒や色素増感太陽電池の効率改善や耐久性向上に向け、理論シミュレーションによる固液界面構造・反応設計の実現を目標に、固液界面における酸化還元(電子・プロトン移動)反応を取り扱うための新しい第一原理“自由エネルギー”計算手法の開発とその固液界面適用に向けた拡張を行います。さらに半導体電極-電解質溶液界面における電子移動と化学結合変化の電子・原子スケールでのメカニズム解明とその制御法探索に取り組みます。
