従来用いられてきた合成化学的手法では達成することのできない新しく効率的な分子変換反応の開発を目的として、金属クラスター反応場を設計・構築します。さらに、固体触媒と錯体触媒の両者の長所、すなわち反応の高速性と高選択性を兼ね備えたクラスター触媒の開発をめざします。
