遺伝子発現情報解析、分子間相互作用解析、プロテオーム解析等と情報工学技術を融合した農業資源生命情報学「アグリバイオインフォマティクス」の基盤技術を確立する。和歌山県が有する豊富な農業資源を対象に、有用アグリリソースのタンパク質発現解析と制御技術の開発、有用アグリリソースの高効率生産・利用技術を開発する。
