人類の福祉に貢献する医薬品や有機材料を、化学合成により環境負荷をかけずに供給するための新規触媒反応開発を目的とします。反応遷移状態の安定化と反応剤の活性化を同時に行える高活性な不斉触媒を反応遷移状態の構造から論理的に創製していくことを基本的な考え方とします。独自の新規不斉触媒反応による医薬リード化合物の効率的合成法の確立を目指します。
