「明るさ」の知覚が必ずしも目に入ってくる視覚情報の物理的な属性だけでは決まらないことが知られています(図参照)。私たちが感じるこのような「明るさ」が脳の中でどのように表現されているかを、最新のオプティカルイメージング法を用いて明らかにします。
