Research overview：
本研究では、水環境の汚染原因である窒素の除去に係わる硝化・脱窒菌の機能向上を、菌体をとりまく、環境的制約、微生物間阻害や相乗作用など混合培養系の秩序の解明と遺伝子修飾により達成を図ります。さらに本研究は、生態系を工学的に制御するバイオレメディエーション技術を含めた生態工学の確立と熱帯・温帯地域への適正化技術の開発をめざします。
