Research overview：
RNAのメチル化やヒストンの修飾が協調的にクロマチン構造の変化を引き起こし、遺伝子発現を制御していることが明らかになってきました。また、non-coding RNAがいろいろな作用機序で遺伝し発現を調節していることも分かってきています。我々は、ほ乳類に特有なX染色体不活性化をモデルにしてnon-coding RNAとエピジェネティックな修飾のクロストークによる不活性クロマチン形成機構に迫りたいと考えています。
