Research overview：

圧電素子と空気圧シリンダを組み合わせ、粗動・微動機構を一体化した、小型かつ高精度のアクチュエータ(位置決め機構)。発光・受光素子と光ファイバ、導波路との位置あわせやレンズやミラーなどの光学部品の組立の際の光路、光軸調整のためのアクチュエータとして利用が期待される。
