Research overview：
タンパク質は決まった立体構造を形成し機能します。タンパク質の構造形成反応に関して、遅い時間領域での情報は多いが、良い手法がないため、1ミリ秒よりも早い初期段階での知見は少ないのが現状です。そこで、本研究では、種々のタンパク質に広く応用できる手法として、光解離性修飾基をタンパク質に導入し、光でタンパク質の構造形成を開始させる全く新しい研究手法を提案します。この手法を用いて、タンパク質の構造形成反応を追跡し、構造形成と機能制御を行います。
