Research overview：
細胞の中のタンパク質を適時厳密に分解することが恒常性維持に重要です。しかしほ乳類の細胞外領域(血液中など)のタンパク質は、漠然と勝手に分解されると考えられ、その詳細は見過ごされてきました。近年、申請者は細胞外の異常タンパク質を選択的に分解へ導くCRED経路を世界に先駆けて発見しました。本研究はこの血中異常タンパク質分解システムなる新領域をイノベーションし、新たな研究分野を開拓します。
