Research overview：
黒目(虹彩色素上皮)細胞の分化転換現象の解析を通じて、組織細胞の分化形質発現の安定化機構、脱分化機構を分子レベルで解明します。さらに、この細胞を眼組織再生のための幹細胞として活用し、高等動物の眼球内でレンズ、網膜神経を再構築させることを試み、ヒト眼科系疾患に対する再生医学的応用を目指します。
