Research overview：
組織構築に必要な細胞の運命決定や形態・運動の制御は、細胞間相互作用や細胞外の分泌因子による長距離作用によって担われていると考えられています。しかし、神経細胞のように長い突起を持つ細胞では、細胞「内」の物質の分布が広い範囲に位置情報をあたえてパターン形成を司ることが可能です。本研究では、組織構築というグローバルな現象の根源を細胞内輸送を介した細胞内の分子の局在に求め、新しいパターン形成パラダイムの確立を目指します。
