Research overview：
ミトコンドリアは内外二層の膜からなり複雑な形態を持つ細胞内小器官で、エネルギー変換やアポトーシスなど重要な細胞機能を担っています。ミトコンドリアの形態はその機能と強く関わっていると考えられていますが、その原理は解明されていません。本研究では、内外膜にかかる力のバランスと機能分子の運動に基づいて、形態を制御する方程式を構成し、解くことで、ミトコンドリア形態の制御原理の解明を目指します。
