私は情報化社会における身体感覚の役割と、人間の持つ社会的な孤独感の低減に活用可能な次の研究、 (1) 安心感を与える感覚刺激の神経基盤の解明 、(2)身体感覚へ安心感を提供する情報技術の開発、および (3)乳幼児・高齢者を対象にしたフィールドワークを実施します。これらの研究と社会実践を通し、情報環境技術が安心感や孤独感といった「こころ」の状態を扱うに必要な情報心理学の知見を取得し、その発展に貢献します。
