Research overview：
水中での接着は難しい。被着体表面を覆う水分子が接着阻害層として働くからである。一方で生物はこの難しい水中接着を巧みにやってのけている。本研究では海棲生物が長年の進化の上で獲得した接着性タンパク質からヒントを得た新規高分子の水中接着剤としての機能を検証する。
