Research overview：
肝疾患においてサルコペニア合併患者は予後不良であることや、肝硬変で肝性脳症を合併することが知られていますが、分子メカニズムの全容は不明です。本研究では「障害肝細胞が放出する粒子は、遠隔臓器間の病態伝播体」と定義し、障害肝細胞由来粒子の遠隔臓器への体内動態や、遠隔臓器内での病態進行メカニズムを解明することで、肝疾患の合併症を予測するバイオマーカーや合併症を抑制する治療法の開発へと発展させます。
