Research overview：
全ての多細胞生物は、微生物に対する自然免疫という防御機構をもって生まれます。脊椎動物は、遺伝子の再編成によって生じる多様な抗体・抗原受容体を活用する獲得免疫系をもちますが、その発動は自然免疫によって制御されています。自然免疫では、ゲノムに含まれる限られた数の遺伝子で、どのようにして多彩な微生物を認識しているのでしょうか。本研究では、哺乳動物の自然免疫における微生物認識、応答の分子機構を明らかにします。
