Research overview：
来るべきゲノム医療などでは、個々人や多種のゲノムを瞬時にして取り出す革新的な技術が必要とされます。しかしながら、現在のDNAシーケンスの処理能力は、一人分のゲノムを解析するのに数百台の自動シーケンサーを用いても3ケ月を要するのが現状です。そこで本研究では、DNAポリメラーゼの合成反応時に取り込まれる塩基を識別し、DNA1分子からの高速シーケンスに挑戦します。
