脳には水晶クロックがありません。しかも信号は多数のループを巡るので、複数の信号の間の時間順序は簡単に失われてしまいます。脳はどこで、どうやって信号の時間順序を表現、保存、再生しているのでしょうか?本研究は、信号と信号の差分に基づく「動き」を表現する領域と、信号そのものを表現する領域が協調して、信号の時間順序を再構成する、という「動き投影仮説」を手がかりとして問題解明に挑みます。
