Research overview：
生物多様性を適応進化の観点から理解するためには、生物進化の歴史である系統関係を考慮することが必要不可欠です。本研究では、進化生物学的妥当性に基づき、表現型の進化モデルによって信頼性が保障された新しい系統種間比較の理論・分析手法を創出します。開発した分析手法を、進化・行動生態学の実証的研究に適用し、従来の研究では実現できなかった適応進化のパターンとプロセスの解明を目指します。
