Research overview：

細胞性粘菌Dictyostelium discoideumは土壌微生物の一種である。近年我々は、D. discoideum由来の低分子物質DIF-1 [1-(3,5-dichloro-2,6-dihydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)hexan-1-one]とその誘導体がJurkat T細胞のIL-2産生に影響することを発見した。本研究ではこの発見に基づき、全く新しいタイプの免疫制御剤の開発を目指す。
