Research overview：
小脳プルキンエ細胞(PC)の障害は小脳性運動失調症(SCA)を惹起しますが、いまだその治療法は確立していません。本研究では、ほぼ純粋にPCの変性をきたす遺伝性SCAを対象として疾患モデルを開発し、オミックス・ケミカルバイオロジーの手法を駆使して、RNA分子発現の異常から個体での発症に至る病態経路を解明し、治療戦略を確立します。そして、PC障害や小脳失調全般に適用しうる治療法・診断マーカーの創出を目指します。
