Research overview：
気候変動に対する海洋の応答を予測するための微生物プロセスや物質の輸送・変換効率は未だ不明な点が多くあります。本研究では申請者の先行研究で明らかにされた、海洋細菌の表面性状とナノサイズ粒子付着との関係をより詳細に把握し、細菌の包括的な炭素源獲得機構の解明を目指します。本研究の達成により、海洋炭素循環や物質の時空間変動の理解が進み、将来の気候変動に伴う海洋の応答予測の高精度化につながるものと考えます。
