Research overview：
生物は、身の回りに溢れる匂い情報を捉えるために嗅覚受容体を利用しています。しかし、その匂いを従来のセンサで正確に記述することは容易ではありません。本研究では、さまざまな嗅覚受容体をもつセンサ細胞を作製し、MEMSを基盤とする工学技術と融合することで革新的匂いセンサシステムを構築します。匂い情報の活用によって豊かな社会を実現する新産業の創出を目指します。
