Research overview：
本研究交流は骨形成に必須な転写因子であるRunx2をPin1によって翻訳後修飾することの重要性を明らかにすることを目的とする。具体的には、韓国側のRunx2についての細胞生物学・分子生物学的研究の知見と、日本側のRunx2についての動物実験に関する知見を組み合わせ、骨形成におけるPin1の役割を明らかにする。日韓が本研究交流を通じて相互的に取り組むことで、骨粗鬆症や骨折の新たな治療薬の開発に寄与することが期待される。
