Research overview：
後天的な遺伝子発現制御機構として知られるエピジェネティクスの異常により、がんや神経精神疾患などの疾病が引き起こされることが知られています。本研究では、標的誘導型合成などの有機化学的なアイデアを基にした化学研究を中心とし、物理学研究、生物学研究との領域貫通型研究を行うことで、創薬を目指した「エピジェネティクス制御の分子技術」の確立を目指します。本研究により、がんや神経精神疾患の革新的治療法が提示されることが期待されます。
