Research overview：
組織に十分な血液が供給されなくなると虚血に至り、組織は機能を失い壊死します。しかし現在は微小血管を再生させる治療法がありません。本研究は微小血管再生を担う「薬」の開発を行い、全身の虚血性疾患の治療を可能とします。具体的には、研究者が発見した血液中に存在する新規の細胞であるReMa細胞の細胞学的特性を解明し、生体内外でReMaを増やし、「組織を甦せる新治療薬」として幅広く医療分野に貢献します。
