Research overview：
遷移金属などの固体表面上では、分子と固体の相互作用により特異な化学反応が進行します。この化学反応はピコ秒(ピコは10のマイナス12乗)程度の時間で起きる原子核の運動により支配されます。本研究では、これと同程度の時間幅を有する特殊なレーザー光を用いて、分子の原子核の運動を観測・制御し、固体表面に吸着した分子の化学反応を制御することを目指します。
