本研究のねらいは、研究対象となる脳の高次機能にとって重要なニューロン(群)を、1細胞レベルで網羅的に同定できる新しい方法論『リバースオプトジェネティクス』を確立することです。線虫C. elegansをモデルとして、「この高次機能に重要なニューロンを1細胞レベルで網羅的に同定したい」といった要求に確実に応えられる技術基盤を確立します。
