Research overview：
赤血球期マラリア原虫は、良好な細胞増殖を保つために、ある種の取り込み系を細胞外に発達させる必然性があります。この生物学的にユニークな現象について、血清中細胞増殖必須因子であるパルミチン酸とオレイン酸の感染赤血球内での代謝・輸送の分子機構に関する解析を進めます。同時に、未だ人類の脅威である寄生虫感染症マラリアの新規化学療法標的分子の提供を目指します。
