Research overview：
ベクトルビームは、偏光、位相および強度分布を同時に、かつ精密に制御することで初めて形成される、全く新しい最先端レーザービームです。ベクトルビームの斬新で機能的な特徴が顕著に現れる、焦点付近での光の振舞いを系統的に探り、新しい光科学領域の開拓を目指します。さらに、材料科学・生命科学との融合研究を推進し、遠視野でのナノイメージングを可能とする、未踏の超解像光学顕微鏡法の開発を進めます。
