Research overview：
「DNAをRNAに転写する“転写装置”が、利用する遺伝子を選択し、またその利用の程度を決定している」という仮説のもとに、実襟に利用される遺伝子が決まる仕組みや、またその利用の程度が決定される仕組み、すなわち遺伝子発現ヒエラルキ一決定機構の解明をめざします。このことにより、生物の自然環境への適応の仕組みや、発生・分化・老化などの研究の発展に大きく貢献するものと思われます。
