Research overview：
この度、銀微粒子を担持した酸化チタン光触媒薄膜(褐色)に特定の波長の光を照射すると、薄膜が光の色と同じ色に着色し、再び紫外線を照射すると元の褐色に戻るという、見かけ上均一な材料を用いた初めての多色フォトクロミズムを見出しました。本研究では、この新現象の機構解明と、光で可逆に書き込み・消去のできる電子ペーパーなどのマルチカラー表示材料や光多重記録材料としての応用展開を進めます。
