Research overview：
本研究では、根の先端部にある根冠において、そのユニークな組織形成と、防御二次代謝産物の代謝という細胞機能を統御する分子機構を解明し、根冠が発動する根の病害抵抗反応の実体を暴きます。中でも、蛍光寿命イメージングにより、根冠細胞内での防御二次代謝産物を産生する酵素複合体「メタボロン」の形成動態とその制御系の解明し、植物の病害抵抗反応の時空間動態を読解く先駆的な研究目標を達成します。
