Research overview：
肝臓の発生学的知見に基づいて、ヒトES細胞から肝実質細胞だけでなく、類洞内皮細胞や星細胞などの非実質細胞をも有する‘ヒト肝様組織’の分化誘導及び培養系を確立し、肝臓の器官形成や再生の分子メカニズムに迫ります。さらに、そのヒトES細胞由来肝様組織を用いて、‘ヒト肝組織マルチ流路チップ’を開発し、個体レベルに近い薬物代謝試験システムを開発します。
