Research overview：
これまで、レーザ治療用には、波長1 μmのNd:YAGレーザや10 μmのCO2レーザが主流であった。最近、2 μmと3μmの2波長発振のHo3+:ZBLANファイバレーザがあるが、これらのレーザはいずれも高価格であった。本研究の目的は、高非線形フォトニック結晶ファイバ(PCF)とフェムト秒ファイバレーザを用いて、シンプルで低価格のレーザ治療用0.5 - 3μm 帯のスーパーコンティニューム(SC)光源用PCFを開発することである。
