Research overview：
ゲノムインプリンテイングとは、父由来と母由来の遺伝子が異なる発現パターンを示す現象です。この由来の異なるヒト染色体を含むマウス細胞を用いて、(1)未知のインプリント遺伝子の単離、(2)染色体上の遺伝子がどのように父母由来を認識するかなどを解明します。これらの研究を通じて、インプリンテインク異常に起因するウィルムス腫蕩、肺癌など多くの腫蕩および種々の遺伝性疾患の治療の基礎づくりをめざします。
