Research overview：
本研究では、多細胞生物が進化の末に獲得した機能的な器官の特徴付けを行う鍵遺伝子座に着目します。鍵遺伝子座を別種生物の染色体上に大規模に移植することで、人為的に器官の特徴を再構成することを目指します。その実現に必要な、鍵遺伝子の転写制御機構の解明と染色体操作技術の開発を進めます。
