Research overview：
疎水性と親水性、この相反する性質を併せ持つことで両親媒性分子は、自己組織化能を獲得し、分子集合体を形成します。本研究では、フラーレンの高い凝集力、疎水性、そして剛直な骨格という特異性に着目し、これを基に新しい疎水性構造をもつ両親媒性分子を創りだします。両親媒性フラーレンの水中での自己組織化により、新しい機能性分子集合体を構築します。遺伝子導入剤など、フラーレン分子集合体の高い安定性を利用した機能の発展が期待されます。
